We give back to the landscapes we love
From low fellside to high mountain crag, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most precious environments – and it will take effort from all of us who play here to protect it.
Through fundraising, diverting a portion of our business profits, and fostering a community of custodians, we can maintain and improve the places we cherish.
We leave our egos at home
Traditional climbing can be a high consequence sport, but it doesn’t have to be dangerous. The Lakes Cult practises safe, responsible, and encouraging climbing, and all abilities are welcome.
We respect everyone’s right to recreation
Climb, hike, run, swim, or bike, there is no right or wrong way to enjoy the outdoors. But there is one rule: always honour the landscape.
